As part of a £1m renovation the client wanted to make the front of the house feel like a stately home, with bespoke water feature and a full 360-degree driveway. With views over the North Yorkshire moors, a lower level was added to give some privacy and to enjoy the views. Large boulders were used to create a natural feeling rockery along with bespoke stone balustrading and steps. Feature circular paths were also used leading around the garden with low level hedges.
An additional scheme was commissioned after successfully presenting the main scheme for the adjacent guest accommodation. The brief was to reduce the impact of the steep gradient and to aid with drainage along with views of lush planting from all the windows.
