Being crammed into 3 existing modified terraced houses was creating major issues. With a large amount of government funding, the practice decided to expand keeping the original houses and adding a bespoke extension and landscaped gardens along with increased parking.

SHELTERED HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY This project was used as a potential planning exercise for our client who wanted to see if a 60 bed scheme with extensive landscaped areas would fit on a plot before buying the land.

The proposed external materials are a combination of red brick, render and rain-screen cladding with generous window/door openings for added natural light, adding a hint of modernity whilst respecting the surrounding local architectural vernacular.
